The New England Roundtable has two annual scholarship
programs. One is a monetary scholarship of $1000 that is
awarded to a student at each of the NERT partner colleges.
For 2008, our partners are Northeastern University, Maine
Maritime Academy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
Bentley College and University of Rhode Island. The second
is a trip to the Council of Supply Chain Management
Professionals Annual Conference as a Student Assistant on
the Arrangements Committee. Students attend sessions for
half of the conference and provide support for the remaining
50% of the conference. This award is great for students in
supply chain management programs. Recipients not only learn
more about the field they intend to enter upon graduation,
but are able to network with many business professionals
that could potentially hire them. For 2008, there will be 2
of these opportunities awarded: one to a student at
Northeastern University and the other to a student at Maine
Maritime Academy.
